Update for 2/12/14

It has been a long time since I have posted on this blog, so I thought I would do an update.

I continue to use mycokerewards.com (even though Blockbuster is no longer a partner). I have turned in points to receive items, totally free.

One thing I have done is when I go to a fast food restaurant, is that on the receipt I get, there is a survey you can take and once completed, I write down the code and turn it in for free food. No personal information is exchange usually in these surveys. For instance, Jack N The Box has a survey (once you get the code) and return it for 2 free tacos. Whataburger also has a survey to fill out and redeem the code for a free Whataburger but you have to purchase a medium drink and fries. Still, that is cheaper than buying the whole meal.

Subway also does surveys and redeem code for a free cookie.

It is not much, but these items are free and only takes up a few minutes of your time.

Hope this helps you out there.

Thanks for reading my post.

Upate January 14, 2014

Just an update on what is going on. I continue to enter my codes at Cokerewards.com. Although now, Blockbuster is no longer a partner (since they have gone out of business) so my points are starting to pile up. I do enter sweepstakes that they offer and most recently. I turned in 75 points for a Powerade sports bottle that I should receive in about 8-10 weeks. It was free, just for entering codes.

Other things that I have been getting into are sites that were referred to me. Sites where you can view movies online. Don't have to sign up or download. But the bad thing is there are a lot of pop up ads, some for adults. So you have to be careful if you have children. I don't think I can post them here because I may get into trouble for that, but I am sure you can google them to find them. Beats paying rental fees.

Hope to update more often.

Thanks for taking the time to read.

Updated post

Haven't posted anything in a while. There are still stuff out there that you can get for free or at a discount. I continue to use mycokerewards.com. Although, most of my coupons were used to get free movies from Blockbuster, not so much anymore. Blockbuster has closed many stores in my area so I don't use that. There are other prizes and coupons you can get on the website.

Also, try getting coupons online. There are many places on the internet (just google coupons) and you can get lots of coupons for meals, etc. Just a little tip to help save you money.

Update 7-25-2011

Just an update on what I have done. I want to mention about the surveys I take online. I continue to take online surveys and make a few dollars. I was surprised the other day when I cashed out $12.00. When I went to log into my account with the survey company, I noticed I had an additional $5.00. It stated that I was a monthly winner in their drawings. I won $5.00. It doesn't sound like much, but it does make me believe that they actually do give away money in monthly drawings. I continue to take surveys and cash out. Something is better than nothing.

Update 6-12-11

Our team (or partial team) scrimmaged against one of the teams that we will play next weekend in our league playoffs. Also there, was 1 player from another team. This guy was pretty good but very beatable. He came across as a jerk to me. He was rushing everything. He partnered up with a good player of the host team and played against myself and the captain of our team. We played 2 sets with them and the first set was close, the 2nd set was not so close. We played to more sets with the exception of the captain of the other team joined the jerk against myself and my captain. We played better and won bot sets. I had some good shots. I noticed that when I would win some points, the jerk on the other side would aim right at my head on returns. I have pretty good reflexes and was able to get the ball in play.

What I noticed about this guy is that he is vulnerable. When playing this type of player, one needs to be consistent and keep it in play an frustrate the opponent. Moving him around and make him hit shots will make him make lots of mistakes - in turn, it will frustrate him and that is how you can get into his head. Your confidence will build while his will decline. At the end of the match, he probably won't shake you hand, but that is ok. I enjoy beating people like that - they don't deserve to win.

Again, keep the ball in play, let him make the mistakes and eventually the match is yours.

Update 2-26-11

Just an update on what is going on. I haven't posted anything in a while now. I have ventured into a hobby that I would eventually turn into a business. I have been selling digital cameras on ebay. I have found a website that allows me to buy salvage and used cameras some working most not, and selling them on ebay. I usually get a batch of around 20 cameras and been profiting on average around $200. It takes me around 1-2 weeks to sell all cameras. And yes, they do all sell. There are a lot of people buying this cameras. I am also selling other stuff (electronics, games, etc.) also.

I still continue to do my surveys, although, it seems that I don't qualify for most of them so, I am not making much money on those. But if you are interested, they continue to need people to fill out surveys. If you can keep up with it, you can make some money (not much) but it is extra money. Survey Spot and American Consumer Opinion are the two companies that I use to take surveys. They are pretty save and they do pay.

I hope to keep you up to date with stuff as I come across them.

Thanks for reading.

Updates 8-8-10

I haven't posted anything in a while so I thought I would give an update. Been busy with selling stuff on ebay and have had some luck. I continue to do online surveys and have cashed in on a few. They have changed how they do it though. Now, you earn points. You must have 1000 points ($10.00) before you can cash in on Surveyspot. They can send the money to your Paypal account instantly. Works great.

The other survey website - American Consumer Opinion has made some minor changes as well. Now, they require $10.00 in your account before they send you a check. It used to be $5.00. The only bad thing about this website, they send very very few surveys to you and when they do, it is usually around the first of the month. You have to qualify and if you do, then you can do the rest of the survey and they will send you money in about a week or so into your account.

That is all for today. I will try to update when new things come up.
